Questions 1 - 4 : The pie chart given below shows the spending's of the family  on various heads during a month. Study the graph and answer the questions:

1. If the total income of the family is Rs.  25,000 then amount spent on rent and food together is

Solution :  Given , 100% = 25000

Thus, 59% = $\frac { 25,000 }{ 100 } \times 59$

Answer : I. 1 : 3

Solution : 15% of  25,000 = 45% of 25,000

Solution : Given, Fuel = 9% and Rent = 14%
